A Midsummer Night's Dream is a comedy written by William Shakespeare c. 1595 or 1596. The play is set in Athens, and consists of several subplots that revolve around the marriage of Theseus and Hippolyta.
A Midsummer Night's Dream is an engaging and fast-paced read, if not a bit frustrating at times. Contrary to popular belief, Shakespeare didn't use "Old Elizabethan English", and actually wrote in the same modern english that we use today.
