M. Raymond
This noted Trappist author was born Joseph David Flanagan in 1903. In 1936 he entered the Trappist Monastery of Our Lady of Gethsemani in Kentucky, where he received the name he is most know by, Fr. Raymond. He was author of numerous books, including the popular “Saga of Citeaux” series. Some of his more well known titles include: The Man Who Got Even With God, The Less Traveled Road, Burnt Out Incense, The Family That Overtook Christ, and God Goes to Murderers’ Row., etc.
