Ralph Waldo Trine
Ralph Waldo Trine (1866 – 1958) was an American writer and lecturer who wrote about New Thought philosophy. His best-known book, In Tune with the Infinite, was published in 1897 and sold over 2 million copies. Trine's work was influential in the development of the self-help movement and New Age spirituality.
Trine was born in Mount Morris, New York, on January 18, 1866. He attended the University of Rochester, where he studied law. After graduating from law school, Trine worked as a lawyer for a few years. However, he became disillusioned with the law and decided to pursue a career in writing.
In 1897, Trine published his first book, In Tune with the Infinite. The book was an immediate success and sold over 2 million copies. Trine went on to write several other books, including The Power of Faith (1900), The Secret of Mental Power (1910), and The Inner Life (1917).
Trine's work was influential in the development of the self-help movement and New Age spirituality. He argued that the key to a happy and successful life was to live in harmony with the infinite. He taught that by focusing on positive thoughts and emotions, people could attract good things into their lives.
