William Lawson Grant

William Grant, born in 1872 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, was the son of George Munro Grant and Jessie Lawson. He served as an officer in WWI and taught history at Oxford and then Queens University. He went on to becoming principal of Upper Canada College (Canada’s preeminent private school).
