El libro de Ezequiel, escrito durante el exilio babilónico de los israelitas, describe las visiones y profecías del profeta Ezequiel. A través de su ministerio, Dios le da mensajes de juicio y advertencia al pueblo de Judá, por su idolatría e infidelidad. Ezequiel predice la caída de Jerusalén, la destrucción del templo y el exilio del pueblo. Sin embargo, también anuncia esperanza y restauracion. Su visión del valle de los huesos secos, es una metáfora de la capacidad de Dios para revivir y dar nueva vida a su pueblo. Ezequiel habla de un nuevo pacto con Dios, donde su espíritu habitará en el corazón de su pueblo y la restauración de la tierra de Israel.
