Carved Lions

by Mary Louisa Molesworth

Carved Lions is a delightful fantasy novel for young readers. When two life-sized carved lions from the East are given as a gift to an English household, the children of the house are enchanted. But they are even more surprised when the lions come to life and begin to help take care of them. The lions, named Leo and Leona, quickly become the children's best friends, and together they have many adventures. But when the children's parents decide to sell the lions, the children must find a way to save their friends.
