'Intrusa' Summary

Intrusa tells the story of a young woman named Helena who moves to Rio de Janeiro after the death of her father. She hopes to find a new life in the city, but she soon discovers that she is an outsider. The other women in her new neighborhood are suspicious of her, and she struggles to fit in. Helena's only solace comes from her friendship with a young man named Augusto, but their relationship is forbidden. As Helena tries to find her place in Rio de Janeiro, she must confront the prejudices and social inequalities that divide the city.
