Bible (KJV) 26: Ezekiel
'Bible (KJV) 26: Ezekiel' Summary
The Book of Ezekiel is set during the Babylonian exile, a time of immense hardship and upheaval for the Israelites. The prophet Ezekiel, living among the exiles in Babylon, receives visions from God and delivers powerful messages to the people. He denounces their idolatry, social injustice, and moral failings, warning them of God's impending judgment. Ezekiel performs symbolic actions, such as shaving his head and lying on his side, to visually communicate God's message. While emphasizing the consequences of sin, Ezekiel also offers a message of hope, predicting the restoration of Israel and the establishment of a new covenant with God. The book concludes with visions of a new temple and a restored Jerusalem, signifying God's ultimate redemption for His people.Book Details
