The Gospel of John is believed to have been written by John the Apostle, one of Jesus's twelve disciples. It is the fourth and final book in the New Testament of the Christian Bible. The Gospel of John is unique in that it focuses more on Jesus's spiritual teachings than on his miracles and parables. John's Gospel is written in a more philosophical style than the other three gospels, and it includes many of Jesus's most famous teachings, such as the Sermon on the Mount and the Last Supper.
