El Escuadrón del Brigante es la segunda novela de la serie Memorias de un hombre de acción de Pío Baroja. El libro cuenta la historia de Aviraneta, un joven que se une a un grupo de guerrilleros durante la Guerra de la Independencia Española. Aviraneta lucha bajo las órdenes del 'Brigante', un líder guerrillero que se distingue por su postura liberal, en contraste con el cura Merino, un líder guerrillero más absolutista.
