'Gaucho Martín Fierro' Summary
Martín Fierro, un gaucho argentino, es obligado a abandonar su hogar y familia por las leyes de la época que lo obligaban a servir en el ejército. Luego de luchar en la frontera contra los indígenas, Fierro regresa a su hogar para descubrir que su familia fue dispersada y que ha perdido todo. Decepcionado por la injusticia social y la violencia que lo rodea, Fierro se convierte en un fugitivo y se refugia en la llanura. En su viaje, conoce a otros gauchos y juntos viven aventuras en la naturaleza. El poema también retrata la lucha de los gauchos contra la injusticia social y la opresión del gobierno, y su resistencia a la civilización moderna que amenaza su estilo de vida tradicional. A través de su viaje, Martín Fierro busca la justicia y la libertad para él y para su pueblo. Finalmente, encuentra un nuevo sentido de comunidad y esperanza en la vida rural, aunque la amenaza de la civilización sigue presente.Book Details
