'Life of Washington, Volume 5' Summary
Volume five of John Marshall's biography of George Washington covers the second term of his presidency. This term was marked by both foreign and domestic challenges, including the ongoing conflict with Native American tribes and the XYZ Affair with France. Washington's leadership and diplomacy were instrumental in resolving these issues and preserving the young nation's neutrality.
