Un giorno, mentre il protagonista della storia, un giovane agente di commercio, si trova in viaggio, una mosca gli si posa sul viso. L'uomo cerca di ucciderla, ma la mosca sfugge ai suoi colpi. L'uomo allora comincia a seguire la mosca, deciso a ucciderla a tutti i costi. Ma più l'uomo insegue la mosca, più perde la testa. Comincia a pensare che la mosca sia un'allucinazione, o addirittura un simbolo della sua stessa mortalità. Alla fine, l'uomo cade preda della disperazione e si uccide.Book Details
