'Revolt In The Desert' Summary
Revolt in the Desert begins with the defeat of King Feisal's army by the Turks at Medina in 1916. Lawrence, a British intelligence officer, is sent to Feisal to help him reorganize his forces and continue the fight against the Ottomans. Lawrence and Feisal develop a close relationship, and together they lead the Arab Revolt to a series of victories. However, the war takes a heavy toll on both men, and Lawrence eventually resigns his commission and returns to England.
