White Feather
'White Feather' Summary
Sheen, a student at Wrykyn School, finds himself labeled a coward when he runs away from a fight with town boys. He is ostracized and treated as if he doesn't exist. However, when he is later attacked by the bullies, Sheen surprises everyone by fighting back bravely. Witnessing his courage, Joe Bevan, an ex-boxer, becomes his mentor. Sheen, with his newfound skills in boxing, develops a plan to compete in the school's Lightweight division. He hopes that a victory will restore his reputation and win back his place in the community. But as often happens, the path to redemption is not smooth, and Sheen faces a number of challenges along the way. The story is filled with Wodehouse's signature humor, heartwarming moments, and relatable characters, as Sheen navigates the complexities of school life, the pressure of proving himself, and discovering his true inner strength.Book Details
