In the untamed wilderness of Kentucky in the 1700s, young Henry Ware embarks on a perilous journey as part of a group of frontier settlers. Amidst the challenges of establishing an outpost and facing constant threats from warring Shawnee Indians, Henry's courage and resourcefulness are tested. He is captured by an Indian tribe but ultimately manages to escape and return to his people, ensuring their safety and securing the frontier against further attacks.
