Bible (ERV) NT 02: Mark
'Bible (ERV) NT 02: Mark' Summary
The Gospel of Mark begins with the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist and follows his ministry in Galilee and Judea. Mark portrays Jesus as a charismatic and authoritative teacher, who attracts large crowds with his message of the kingdom of God. Jesus performs numerous miracles, including healing the sick, casting out demons, and calming storms. He also teaches his disciples about the importance of humility, service, and forgiveness. As Jesus' ministry progresses, he faces increasing opposition from the religious authorities. He is eventually betrayed by one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, and arrested by the Roman authorities. Jesus is crucified and dies on the cross, but three days later, he rises from the dead and appears to his disciples. The Gospel of Mark ends with the disciples carrying on Jesus' mission, spreading the message of the gospel throughout the world.Book Details
