Blind Man's Eyes

Blind Man's Eyes

by Edwin Balmer

In 'Blind Man's Eyes,' a lawyer finds himself entangled in a web of intrigue and danger when a seemingly ordinary case of a murdered financier unravels into a complex mystery. The story unfolds in the snowy wilderness of Montana where a train carrying the lawyer becomes the scene of an attack. Amidst the harsh environment and a cast of suspicious characters, the lawyer's daughter finds herself drawn to a mysterious young man, while a seemingly innocuous telegram raises further questions. With a second murder occurring and clues emerging like pieces of a puzzle, the investigation takes twists and turns, leading to safe-cracking, a burned bridge, and a desperate manhunt. As the story progresses, the lawyer's search for the truth is aided by the insightful observations of a blind man, whose unique perspective reveals the hidden motives and connections that drive the case.
