As the holidays draw near, Nan and Bert, along with their friends Freddie and Flossie, embark on their journey to Snow Lodge. They face wintery challenges, explore a frozen lake, and discover a hidden treasure that leads them on a captivating adventure. Along the way, they encounter a mysterious old lady who seeks their help in restoring a long-lost friendship. Through their investigation, the twins learn that Danny Rugg's behavior stems from a past betrayal and are able to mend the broken friendship by uncovering the truth.
