Brewster's Millions
'Brewster's Millions' Summary
Monty Brewster inherits a million dollars from his grandfather, but there's a catch: he has to spend it all within a year without gaining any material possessions. If he succeeds, he'll inherit another seven million dollars. But spending a million dollars without acquiring anything of value proves to be harder than Monty expected. He tries to give it away, but people are reluctant to accept it. He invests in a series of harebrained schemes, but they all fail. Finally, Monty realizes that the challenge is not just about spending the money but about learning the value of money and the importance of living a meaningful life.Book Details
