Glenn Kilbourne, a war veteran, travels to Arizona to regain his health. There he meets and falls in love with Flo Hutter, a strong and independent Arizona girl. However, Glenn's fiancée, Carley Burch, soon arrives in Arizona and becomes disillusioned with life in the West. She returns to New York, leaving Glenn heartbroken.
