'crimen de Orcival' Summary
La novela comienza con el descubrimiento del cadáver de Berta, la condesa de Tremorel, en un cañaveral en las tierras del castillo de Valfeuillu, propiedad de su marido, el conde de Tremorel. Dos cazadores furtivos son los que encuentran el cuerpo, lo que pone en marcha una compleja investigación liderada por el detective Lecoq. A lo largo de la historia, Lecoq se enfrenta a un grupo de sospechosos con sus propios motivos e historias turbias. Entre ellos se encuentra el mismo conde de Tremorel, que no parece estar muy afligido por la muerte de su esposa. También se descubre un misterioso amante de la condesa y un grupo de personas con intereses ocultos.
