Gulliver's Travels In Lilliput And Brobdingnag, Told To The Children

Gulliver's Travels in Lilliput and Brobdingnag, Told to the Children

by Jonathan Swift

This enchanting children's adaptation of Jonathan Swift's classic novel retells the amazing adventures of Lemuel Gulliver, a ship's surgeon who finds himself shipwrecked on the shores of Lilliput, a land inhabited by tiny people no taller than his finger. After befriending the Lilliputians, Gulliver aids them in their war against the neighboring island of Blefuscu. However, his colossal size soon becomes a liability, and he is forced to flee for his life. Gulliver's adventures continue as he is shipwrecked again, this time on the shores of Brobdingnag, a land inhabited by giants. Here, he becomes a plaything for the giant king's daughter and must learn to navigate the challenges of being the smallest creature in a world of towering beings. Through his extraordinary experiences, Gulliver gains a new perspective on his own life and the nature of humanity.
