Hour of the Dragon
'Hour of the Dragon' Summary
The novel opens with Conan, a seasoned warrior, already a legendary figure in the lands of Aquilonia. He is invited to the court of King Yezdigerd, a seemingly benevolent ruler. However, Conan soon discovers that the king is a power-hungry tyrant, manipulating the sorcerer Numa the Pict to achieve his goals. Numa, wielding ancient magic, seeks to unleash a powerful demonic entity that will subjugate the world. Conan, despite his initial distrust, forms an alliance with the sorcerer to thwart Yezdigerd's plans. He journeys through perilous lands, battling monstrous creatures, and encountering powerful allies and treacherous enemies alike. His journey leads him to the heart of Numa's hidden temple, where he confronts both the sorcerer and the demonic entity. In a climactic battle, Conan, driven by his strength and cunning, defeats the evil forces, proving his title as Conan the Conqueror and securing a fragile peace for the land.Book Details
