Legion of Lazarus
'Legion of Lazarus' Summary
In a futuristic society, the harshest punishment for heinous crimes is the Humane Penalty, a cold, swift death in the vacuum of space. However, a revolutionary scientific breakthrough, known as the Lazarus Project, brings these seemingly dead criminals back to life. They are recruited into a clandestine organization, the Legion, and tasked with carrying out missions that require their unique skills and lack of moral inhibitions. As the former criminals embark on these missions, they are caught in a web of intrigue and deceit, forced to confront their past and navigate the morally ambiguous world of the Legion. The project, however, comes with its own set of dangerous and unforeseen consequences, raising questions about the ethics of resurrection and the true nature of their handlers' motivations. The Legion of Lazarus follows the story of these reanimated criminals as they attempt to find their place in a society that both needs and fears them, while grappling with their own mortality and the complex issues surrounding their existence.Book Details
