'Leiden des jungen Werther' Summary
Die Leiden des jungen Werther ist ein Roman von Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, der 1774 veröffentlicht wurde. Er erzählt die Geschichte von Werther, einem jungen Mann, der sich unsterblich in Charlotte verliebt, die jedoch bereits verlobt ist. Werthers Liebe wird von Charlotte nicht erwidert, und er verfällt in eine tiefe Verzweiflung, die schließlich in Selbstmord endet. Der Roman ist in Form von Briefen geschrieben, die Werther an seinen Freund Wilhelm schreibt. Durch diese Form gelingt es Goethe, die tiefe emotionale und psychische Zerrissenheit des Protagonisten auf eindringliche Weise darzustellen.Book Details
