'Love Me, Love My Dog' Summary
The story begins when three girls, Sarah, Betsy, and Nancy, are brought together by chance and form an unbreakable bond, calling themselves the Dearwas. They share a passion for animals and decide to create a club with a group of boys, the Detectives, named the Band of Mercy, dedicated to animal welfare. Their commitment to animal rights leads them to confront various challenges, including protecting animals from mistreatment, raising awareness about animal welfare, and fighting for their rights. The story unfolds as the children embark on numerous adventures, engaging in acts of kindness and justice towards animals.
