'Maigraf' Summary
Rambert, ein junger Mann, der den Schrecken des Krieges erlebt hat, kehrt nach Jahren der Abwesenheit in seine Heimatstadt Hildesheim zurück. Er steht vor der Aufgabe, das Geschäft seines verstorbenen Vaters zu übernehmen, eine Aussicht, die er zutiefst abschreckend findet. Seine romantischen Gefühle für die schöne Richilde werden zurückgewiesen, was ihn noch mehr entmutigt. Gefangen in seinem Leben und nach Freiheit sehnend, wünscht sich Rambert, sein Leben ein weiteres Mal hinter sich zu lassen. Sein Onkel und sein Bruder, Dr. Musculus, haben jedoch einen Plan, ihn zum Bleiben zu bewegen, der möglicherweise seinen Kurs verändert und ihm einen Weg eröffnet, den er vielleicht nicht erwartet hätte.Book Details
