'Mary Louise and the Liberty Girls' Summary
When the United States enters World War I, Mary Louise Burrows and her friends form the Liberty Girls, a group dedicated to supporting the troops. They sell Liberty Bonds, collect supplies, and write letters to soldiers. One day, Mary Louise overhears a suspicious conversation and realizes that there is a plot to sabotage the war effort. She and the Liberty Girls investigate and uncover a ring of spies who are planning to blow up a munitions factory. With the help of a resourceful new member, Josie O'Gorman, Mary Louise and the Liberty Girls foil the plot and save the day.Book Details
