'No Surrender' Summary
Jenny Clegg is a young woman who works long hours in a Lancashire mill to support her family. She is overworked and underpaid, and she is subject to the whims of her tyrannical father. When she learns about the movement for women's suffrage, she is inspired to join the cause.
