Die Fürstin genießt einen ruhigen Ausritt, als sie auf einem Jahrmarkt ankommt, auf dem wilde Tiere ausgestellt sind. Plötzlich bricht ein Feuer aus, das Panik und Chaos auslöst. Ein Tiger, der aus seinem Gehege entkommen ist, nähert sich dem Pferd der Fürstin. Die Geschichte beschreibt die Schrecken und das Gefühl der Hilflosigkeit, die die Fürstin ergreift, als sie der Bedrohung durch den Tiger gegenübersteht.
