'One Thing Needful' Summary
Lady Lashmore is a wealthy and privileged woman who is constantly complaining about the poor people in the factory ten miles away. Her son, Lord Lashmore, is a kind and compassionate man who falls in love with a poor woman. Through his relationship with her, he comes to understand the struggles and injustices faced by the working class.
