In the heart of the South African wilderness, a group of six men embark on a perilous quest to mine for diamonds and amass unimaginable wealth. United by a pact to share their fortune equally among themselves or their heirs, they eagerly await the first of January, the day their dreams will come to fruition. However, their pursuit of riches soon takes a sinister turn as the diamonds they uncover become increasingly bloodstained.
