'Sangre y arena' Summary
Juan Gallardo is a young and talented bullfighter from a poor neighborhood in Seville. He dreams of becoming a famous matador, and his determination and hard work eventually pay off. He becomes one of the most successful bullfighters in Spain, and his fame and fortune grow rapidly. However, Juan's success comes at a price. He becomes arrogant and self-destructive, and his relationships with his family and friends begin to deteriorate. He also becomes involved in a dangerous love affair with a married woman, which ultimately leads to his downfall.Book Details
