Francesco Petrarca was an Italian scholar and poet who lived in the 14th century. He is considered one of the fathers of the Renaissance and is best known for his sonnets about his love for Laura. This collection includes 70 of his sonnets and 10 of his odes. The poems are written in Italian with an accompanying English translation.
