'Weird Picture' Summary
Frank Willard, a young man studying in Germany, receives a letter summoning him home for Christmas and his brother George's wedding. However, Frank's heart is heavy as he learns that his brother's bride-to-be is Daphne, the woman he has always secretly loved. Torn between his duty to his family and his own desires, Frank decides to attend the wedding, determined to face his unresolved feelings for Daphne and the consequences that may follow. As Frank arrives home, he is immediately struck by the strange and unsettling atmosphere surrounding his family. His brother George seems distant and preoccupied, and Daphne appears both alluring and enigmatic. As the wedding day approaches, Frank finds himself drawn into a web of secrets and deceptions, questioning everything he thought he knew about his family and his own heart. The closer he gets to the truth, the more dangerous his situation becomes, and he must ultimately decide whether to confront his past and fight for his own happiness or to sacrifice his own desires for the sake of his family.Book Details
