Dr. Martin teams up with a daring pilot named Captain Connaught to track down Dr. Thorvald and destroy his machine. The two men follow Dr. Thorvald to a remote island in the Arctic, where they engage in a battle of wits and courage.
In the end, Dr. Martin and Captain Connaught are able to destroy Dr. Thorvald's machine and prevent him from creating a new Ice Age. However, the story ends with a warning that the dangers of science are real and that we must be careful not to misuse our knowledge.
