Sammy Jay, a young blue jay, finds himself in a peculiar predicament when he starts talking in his sleep. Determined to uncover the mystery behind his strange behavior, Sammy sets out on an adventure, seeking answers from the wise and witty creatures of the Southern woodland. Along the way, he encounters Unc' Billy Possum, the wise old mentor; Old Mrs. Possum, the kind and nurturing guide; Jimmy Skunk, the mischievous prankster; and Hooty the Owl, the enigmatic observer.
