Aunt Jane's Nieces Abroad is the second book in the Aunt Jane's Nieces series. The story follows the three nieces, Patsy, Louise, and Beth, as they travel through Europe with their uncle, John Merrick. Along the way, they encounter a mysterious and sinister man named Victor Valdi, his daughter Tato, and a pretend nobleman, Count Ferralti. The girls soon find themselves caught in a web of intrigue and danger, as they are kidnapped and held for ransom. With the help of their uncle and a new friend, a young Italian boy named Beppo, the girls must find a way to escape and return home safely.
