Black Eagle Mystery
'Black Eagle Mystery' Summary
When Hollings Harland, a successful corporate lawyer, falls eighteen stories from the Black Eagle Building, the authorities deem it a suicide. The investigation, however, falls short of satisfying Molly Morgenthau Babbits, a part-time investigator with an astute mind and a knack for uncovering the truth. Harland, a prominent figure in a secretive organization involved in copper trading, was on the verge of exposing their illicit activities. His untimely death, seemingly timed for their benefit, raises suspicion for Molly. With the help of a connection within the Black Eagle building, she embarks on a personal quest for justice. Her investigation leads her to uncover connections to the wealthy Johnston Barker, who might be a part of the secretive organization. Molly finds herself immersed in a world of corporate intrigue, deception, and veiled motives. Facing the risk of jeopardizing her own safety, Molly presses on, determined to unravel the truth and expose the perpetrators of this potentially foul crime.Book Details
