'X Y Z - A Detective Story' Summary
In the midst of a counterfeiting investigation that has puzzled Washington officials, a detective stumbles upon a series of cryptic letters addressed to "X. Y. Z." in Brandon, Massachusetts. As he digs into the mystery, he finds himself on the trail of a clever gang of counterfeiters who have been flooding the region with fake currency. With the help of the Secret Service, the detective uncovers a complex network of deception and deceit, leading him closer to the truth.
