'Devlin the Barber' Summary
In the bustling streets of London, a young woman's life is tragically cut short by a knife in the park. Her sister vanishes, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions. Our narrator, an unemployed man seeking purpose, finds himself thrust into the heart of the investigation. He becomes entangled with the eccentric Devlin, a barber who possesses a curious ability to read minds and delve into the secrets of others. As the narrator delves deeper, he encounters a cast of suspicious characters, including a grieving suitor, a fearful landlady, and her bewildered husband.
