Brown Brethren
'Brown Brethren' Summary
Brown Brethren follows a group of friends who enlist in the London Irish Rifles at the outbreak of World War I. The novel's central characters, like the brave and strong Michael 'Mick' O'Brien, the resourceful and cunning Paddy McShane, and the quiet but steadfast Peter 'Petie' O'Reilly, experience the grueling realities of trench warfare together.
