The stories in Captures are set in a variety of times and places, but they all share a common theme: the power of human relationships. In "A Feud," a broken engagement leads to a bitter feud between two families. In "The Man Who Kept His Form," a man's financial prospects disappoint, but he maintains his dignity and self-respect.
