Celebrated Crimes, Vol. 6: Part 3: Martin Guerre

Martin Guerre is the true story of a French peasant who disappeared for eight years and was replaced by an imposter during his absence. The imposter, Arnaud du Tilh, successfully impersonated Guerre and claimed his inheritance. He also had sexual relations with his wife and committed other crimes. When the real Guerre returned, the imposter was arrested and executed.
