'Correio da Roça' Summary
Maria, tendo perdido o marido, se vê privada de sua vida de conforto no Rio de Janeiro e obrigada a se mudar com suas quatro filhas para a fazenda da família, situada no interior do Brasil. A mudança representa uma grande ruptura com o estilo de vida ao qual estavam acostumadas, levando-as a enfrentar a austeridade e a monotonia da vida rural. O isolamento e a falta de familiaridade com o ambiente rural geram inicialmente frustração e desânimo. No entanto, através de cartas de uma amiga que retorna da Europa, elas começam a vislumbrar a beleza e a riqueza da natureza que as cerca. O contato com a terra, o trabalho árduo e a simplicidade do dia a dia vão gradualmente transformando a perspectiva das personagens, levando-as a encontrar novos significados e a construir uma vida mais plena.
