'Edge of the Knife' Summary
The year is 1942, and the world is on the brink of a nuclear war. A young man named Halvard learns that he has the ability to see flashes of the future. He uses this ability to try to prevent the war, but his efforts are ultimately unsuccessful. The war devastates the planet, and Halvard is one of the few survivors. He travels to the future, where he helps to rebuild society. He becomes a leader of the Terran Federation, and helps to establish a new era of peace and prosperity. However, the future is not without its challenges. The Terran Federation must constantly be on guard against threats from both within and outside its borders.
