Flower of the Dusk
by Myrtle Reed
'Flower of the Dusk' Summary
In the quaint town of Hilltop, two families live side by side, each facing their own unique struggles. The Norths, a family of modest means, find joy and strength in their close bonds despite the disabilities that afflict three of their children. The Austins, on the other hand, are a wealthy family who struggle to find happiness amidst their material possessions. As the story unfolds, a young woman named Eloise Wynne arrives in town with her fiancé, Dr. Allan Conrad. Eloise's intention is to bless the North family with her kindness and generosity, but her presence soon uncovers hidden secrets and deceptions that have long haunted both families. As the truth comes to light, the North and Austin families must confront their pasts and find ways to heal and move on. The Flower of the Dusk explores themes of family, love, loss, and the indomitable spirit that resides within us all.Book Details
