For Fifteen Years is the sequel to Louis Ulbach's The Steel Hammer, continuing the story of Jean Mortier, a poor upholsterer falsely accused of murder. After his conviction, his wife and daughter are taken in by the family of Gaston de Monterey, a character witness from the trial. Circumstances and deceptions create distrust and tension between the two families over the years, but the daughter of Jean Mortier and the son of Gaston de Monterey fall in love. They set out to discover the truth about Jean Mortier's guilt to clear his name, seeking the blessing of their parents for their marriage and the reconciliation of their families.Book Details
