'Fortunes of Glencore' Summary
Viscount Glencore, a wealthy and powerful man, is determined to exact revenge on his wife, who has left him. He disowns his son, whom he believes to be illegitimate, and sets out to denounce the marriage. However, his plans are thwarted when his son runs away. Glencore's old friend, Upton, agrees to become the boy's guardian, and the two of them set out on a journey to find the boy and bring him home. Along the way, they encounter a cast of characters who will challenge their beliefs and ultimately help them to see the error of their ways.Book Details
